A major player in the New York sports betting market added yet another marketing deal within the state.

Caesars Entertainment, which touts itself as the largest casino-entertainment company in the United States, announced during the weekend a multi-year partnership between Caesars Sportsbook New York and the Buffalo Bills.

The agreement was at least the third major deal for Caesars within the state.

Detailing Others Caesars Pacts

The other Caesars pacts are:
  • In September 2019, the Oneida Indian Nation officially opened The Lounge with Caesars Sports at Yellow Brick Road Casino, the largest sports book in New York at the time.  It was the third retail sportsbook in Oneida, following the Aug. 1, 2019 opening of The Lounge with Caesars Sports at Turning Stone Resort Casino and Point Place Casino.
  • In November 2021, in anticipation of mobile sports wagering, Caesars announced a multi-year marketing partnership with Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., which made it an official sports betting partner of the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, Madison Square Garden Arena and MSG Networks. As part of the deal, Caesars Sportsbook will have a branded, premium hospitality space inside Madison Square Garden that will be open for all Knicks and Rangers games, as well as additional select events. The space will undergo a full refurbishment leading into the 2022-23 Knicks and Rangers seasons.

With this new deal, Caesars Sportsbook became an official mobile sports betting partner of the Bills, who advanced in the NFL Playoffs with a 47-17 thrashing of their rival, the New England Patriots.

“This partnership gives us the opportunity to connect with one of the most passionate fan bases in all of sports,” said Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital, in a news release. “We’re ready to welcome Bills fans into the Caesars Empire and offer them access to best-in-class hospitality experiences through our Caesars Sportsbook app as we continue to expand our footprint across the state of New York and beyond.”

In early January, the Bills also signed a deal with the FanDuel Group.

Caesars 1 of 4 Operators to Start First

Caesars Sportsbook was one of the first four mobile sports betting platforms to launch in New York on Jan. 8. The others are: DraftKings New York, FanDuel New York and BetRivers New York. BetMGM New York started its mobile operations on Monday.

Four more mobile operators were granted licenses by the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) on Nov. 8. They are WynnBET New York, PointsBet New York, Bally Bet New York and Resorts World New York. That group has not been granted approval to begin operations but is expected to before the Feb. 13 Super Bowl.

More details will become available before Caesars’ brand-new club lounge in the northwest corner tower of the existing Business Class Club makes its debut before the start of the 2022 Buffalo Bills season.

Also, Caesars Sportsbook attains access to the use of official Buffalo Bills logos and marks. The sportsbook gets rights to a host of VIP experiences for its bettors through the Caesars Sportsbook app’s integration with its loyalty program, Caesars Rewards.

“We look forward to the new attraction Caesars will bring to Highmark Stadium next season, and to working with Caesars Sportsbook for many years to come,” said Dan Misko, senior vice president of business development for Pegula Sports & Entertainment, the company that owns the Bills. “We’re very excited to work together with Caesars to engage Bills fans throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario, bringing these unique experiences right to their fingertips. “
